Description
The seiryuto is a machete with a wooden handle and a steel blade. It is used in Okinawan kobudo. The seiryuto is held with one hand and the timbei with the other.
In the progression of traditional Okinawan kobudo, seiryuto and timbei are the tenth weapon studied and are only taught from 4th dan onwards.
