Description

The kama is an Okinawan tool that originated with the Okinawan peasants. It is an agricultural tool (sickle handle) converted into a Kobudo weapon. It is said that the technique of Kama (Kamajutsu) was developed under the Ryukyu ban on possessing a weapon. It is a tool ready for both defence and attack, as it can slash or stab. Available sizes are: M (38 cm handle and 19 cm blade) and L (45,5 cm handle and 19 cm blade). It is handmade in Japan from red oak wood.

The handle specially studied so that it does not slip. Made of beech wood of first quality and has the conical shape with a diameter of 25 mm to 29 mm and a length of 33 cm. The 17 cm (L) polished carbon steel blade and the polished iron bushing with 4 mm pressure pin, with which is formed as a one piece with the handle.
