Once you have made your purchase, you will receive an email from Hajime Karate with the confirmation of the same that will contain the most important details of the purchase: order number, total amount, information regarding the shipment and details of the products purchased (if it is a product customized, please, review the information related to this type of products in the following section). The acceptance of the order and, therefore, the constitution of the contract of sale of non-personalized products between you and Hajime Karate will take place when you receive an email confirming the shipment of the order from our facilities.
The case of the purchase of a product and the reservation to be collected in a Championship or event attended by Hajime Karate, does not exist through the web but has to be requested through the email firstname.lastname@example.org If it is possible to pick it up at the venue, Hajime Karate will send you an email with a summary of your purchase and pick up details. B) PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS:
On our website we offer the option to customize karateguis and belts. This means that although the products have been designed and created by the brand that is indicated in the product, we allow them to be customized or modified by our customers insofar as it is indicated in each of the articles. You can choose the measures to get a personalized karategui or choose the options available to embroider a belt. Our personalization tool will guide you through the different steps.
The module that allows personalization of personalized products is always in constant evolution to allow more options to the clients in terms of embroidery, measurements or label changes. Hajime Karate will receive and review your personalization request that will collect all the options that you have filled out to personalize, either through a form on the web or a text field, and if any data is missing or we see that some option does not agree with what, from experience, we believe will satisfy you, we will contact you in less than 24 hours to inform you.
Once all the details are clear, Hajime Karate will send you an email with the summary of your purchase and the details for the payment. Acceptance of your order and establishment of the contract of sale of personalized products between you and Hajime Karate will take place when you receive our message confirming your order or purchase request and the product has been paid. We will not proceed with any custom order that has not been paid in advance. Once the payment has been received, it will be considered as a firm order and the order will proceed.
Until the products have been paid in full, including shipping costs, even if they have been partial deliveries, they will be owned by Hajime Karate. Prior to the transfer of ownership, the pledge, transfer of property as collateral, treatment or redesign are not permitted without the approval of Hajime Karate.
To personalize your belt or karategui with your embroidery, you can send any combination of letters, numbers, symbols and spaces to form a name, a word or a phrase. To the extent that the order includes Custom Products manufactured or adapted in accordance with the client’s specifications, you will not have any reflection period, right of revocation, right of return or right of withdrawal.
Please note that for the Custom Products special stipulations apply, as these products have been designed specifically for you. Personalised items are handmade and handcrafted to order, so the manufacturing and shipping process may take longer than the stipulated time. Items embroidered in Europe usually take 18 days and those made in our factory (Japan) take about 3 months. It is true that due to COVID and other problems beyond our control, deliveries have been delayed beyond the indicated deadline. In most cases, delivery deadlines are met, and even deliveries are often earlier than indicated. It is true, however, that even when we do our best, there are times when international transport problems or other reasons beyond our control can delay these deadlines even longer. In no case, due to these delays, will the customer be refunded for a customised product, unless there is a justified reason. Please take this into account when placing your orders. The dates given are approximate.
Hajime Karate is an official distributor of brands of recognized and proven quality, with a career in the world of Karate such as Kaiten, Shureido, Trocellen and Sisu, among others. Specialized firms that have been manufacturing and producing Karate equipment for decades.
Although quality is one of the hallmarks of these brands and their journey through the market precedes them, we ask you, please, to pay attention to the washing and maintenance instructions that we recommend in each of our products. The withdrawal period will expire 14 days from the day that you or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier, acquires material possession of the last of those goods.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS:

o make the payment of the orders paid by bank transfer, the client must indicate to Hajime Karate an IBAN code so that the corresponding amount can be paid. The IBAN code must belong to a banking entity of the country to which the order is sent.
Hajime Karate’s quality control department will inspect the returned products. If the damage is a consequence of a manufacturing defect or if the product does not meet the factory specifications we are committed to refund the entire cost of the defective product. If the problem is due to causes beyond the quality of the material or the assembly process, we will return the product as you sent it to us.
We do not refund products:
- If they have not been obtained on our Website
- If they have been damaged by misuse or negligence

The useful life of any product depends on the particular use made of it, the conditions of use and the wear patterns characteristic of the user. Hajime Karate products damaged by normal wear and tear or that have exceeded the reasonable life of the product will not be replaced.

The cost of returning the product is at the customer’s expense but we ask you to consult us because we have very negotiated rates with the agencies and we can offer you very economical solutions.
The shipping of the material, as long as the purchase exceeds 50€ excluding VAT, only in Peninsula and Baleare (excluding the Canary Islands) will always be paid by Hajime Karate (except for Tatamis). Please note that personalised products cannot be exchanged.
For purchases of less than 50€ the return shipping costs to the company and the replacement will be 6,10€, for peninsula and Balearic Islands and will be paid by the customer. For the rest of the countries and destinations it will be according to the conditions of sale.
The prices shown on the website are in Euros and include VAT. ajime Karate reserves the right to make changes to prices and products before you place your order.
Hajime Karate reserves the right to change, limit or terminate any special offer or discount at any time. But changes will not affect any order that has been confirmed by an Order Confirmation.

SHIPPING COSTS AND DELIVERY TIMES:

The approximate delivery time is indicated in the chosen shipping method. In Europe deliveries can be approximately 4 days or 24h choosing the urgent option (in which the shipping costs will be calculated according to the volume, weight and amount and you will be informed by email before 24h); for Spain or Portugal standard deliveries are 2-3 days and urgent deliveries are approximately 1 to 2 days.

The mere fact that a shipment exceeds the delivery time does not entitle the customer to compensation. However, in the unlikely event of an urgent delivery delay, Hajime Karate undertakes to compensate the purchaser by refunding the shipping costs of the urgent delivery.
Delivery times for personalised products are always approximate.
Deliveries will be made on working days that are not public holidays in the country of delivery or in the area to which the order is to be delivered. We therefore ask our customers to inform themselves about national, provincial and local holidays in their place of residence.
In the event that a product of the order is not available, you will be informed within 24 hours of the delivery times of the various items so that you can decide whether you prefer a partial delivery, to wait or to cancel the order. Hajime Karate shall be entitled to make partial deliveries. These partial deliveries will not incur any additional costs. However, if you request delivery in parts, Hajime Karate will charge you for the additional delivery costs. Each order in instalments shall constitute a separate purchase contract. If Hajime Karate is late in the delivery of a part or a split order, this shall not entitle Hajime Karate to cancel any further deliveries of the split order.

Hajime Karate awards points that can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases. The points are only awarded to registered customers and can be redeemed in the online purchase of any product except those that at that time have any promotion and the category of tatamis. They cannot be accumulated with other discount codes. The expiry date of the points is 6 months.
1 point will be awarded for every 20€ spent and 10 points are equivalent to 5€ discount on future purchases. Points are awarded as long as the order is completed and paid for. Points will not be awarded for cancelled orders. When a discount coupon is used in the purchase, no points will be awarded. No new points will be awarded if points are redeemed on the purchase.
The minimum cart amount to redeem points will be 50€ and the maximum discount per individual product will be 10%.
For every review you make of our products on the website you will be awarded 2 additional points.
Points are also awarded based on the cart total, for every €100 spent 2 additional points are awarded.
For every 10 points earned you get 1 extra point.
Hajime Karate reserves the right to remove a customer’s points if it considers that they have been obtained illegally.
METHODS OF PAYMENT:
Hajime Karate will accept payments made through a credit or debit card (Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard or AMEX), through reimbursement, PayPal, Multibanco or bank transfer (all expenses derived from making the payment by transfer will be at the customer’s expense) .
