Description

Two-tone karate belts two-tone 100% cotton. It weighs between 250 grams and 500 grams, depending on the size selected. They are made of quality cotton which gives them a perfect thickness for karate practice in the dojo.

The belts in Karate indicate the degree that has the karateka that owns it. This identifies their degree of technique, skills and experience. The colors of the belts sometimes vary according to the federation or branch of Karate that is practiced. The bicolor belts show the intermediate levels of the colored belts. As an example, before moving from white to yellow, you would get the white-yellow belt, then the yellow, etc … The grading system of karate belts is called Kyu or Kyu grades. On the other hand the existing Dan degrees in Karate were integrated taking as a reference another martial art, judo of Japanese origin. The Dan Degree, is the highest rank in the practice of karate and is reflected in the black belts of Karate (from 1st to 10th DAN). Which are the Kyu Degrees? White – 10th Kyu, Yellow – 9th Kyu, Orange – 8th and 7th Kyu, Green – 6th and 5th Kyu, Blue – 4th and 3rd Kyu, Brown – 2nd and 1st Kyu.
