Species of barbed composed of a central wooden cane and at one end a Nunti-Sai embedded. Master Shinkō Matayoshi (又吉眞光) learns the use of weapons from a young age to be nicknamed Kama no tee; meaning ‘Matayoshi, expert in kama. Before his trips to China and Okinawa to learn the use of different weapons, each of them was a martial art in itself until kobudo, in a methodical and organised way, brought together its uses and knowledge on the island of Okinawa. But it was his son, Shinpō Matayoshi, who learned from his father and after his death founded his own dōjō, the Kōdōkan, which was to be the seat of the kobudō. This tool allows you to pinch, hook, wrap and control.
